Tasks include data mart design, Analysis Services OLAP cube development, MDX, aggregations, perspectives, SSIS ETL, synchronization and Proclarity reports and automated trade messaging programming.
	Business Intelligence and Analytics	Healthcare	Healthcare (SaaS) company's global Microsoft business intelligence, analytics, data warehouse and reporting systems in a 24x7 environment. Technologies included SQL Server 2008 R2, Reporting Services, Report Builder and PowerPivot. Developed healthcare patient population reports, analytical reports and operational reports across a variety of data sources. Planned, tested and upgraded the business intelligence platform from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 R2.

	Retail Low Rack Pricing Analysis Reporting	Retail	Developed SQL Server 2005 code to accumulate and analyze multiple vendor retail product pricing data for multiple client locations by multiple vendors, brands and product categories for Pricing Analysts.
	Site Analysis and Geocoding	Retail	Site analysis data collection, analysis using correlation and regression models with SPSS, mapping and geocoding with MapPoint. Additional code included a web based zip code radius search referencing stored zip code latitude and longitude.
	Item-Based Collaborative Filtering	Retail	Development of the data structure, data mining stored procedures and code to implement an internal Harvard business analyst's Item-Based Collaborative Filtering functionality, a function similar to Amazon.com item recommender. The algorithms involved millions of statistical computations on an Oracle server evaluating catalog product purchase combinations. The end result of the project was a reference table and code to implement recommended items based on the current item selections for the retail ecommerce web site.
	Process Engineering Data Analytics	Supply Chain	Business process analysis, re-engineering AS-IS and TO-BE, value stream engineering, data analysis, functional and technical requirements, cost-benefit evaluation and business case for automating manual inspection processes in a mobile device warehouse facility.

Modules included a content management system, file manager, warehouse supply order application, online project management, help desk, public and private calendars, security control panel and department specific features.
	Legacy System Data Conversion	Retail	EBCDIC to ASCII data conversion of binary COBOL ISAM files from a legacy application utilizing Java, DTS and DOS batch scripts, application interface programming and report development for a PeopleSoft implementation.
	DFAS Navy Airforce Interface	Defense	This multi-million dollar, heavy-load web application had over 14,000 users, replicated databases and load balanced web IIS servers. Performed programming, performance tuning, optimization, database administration, documentation and testing. Technology and processes used include Microsoft DNA architecture, COM/DCOM, Encryption, ActivePDF, Perl, SQL Server databases, ASP, Visual Basic, Javascript, MTS, RUP, UML, stored procedures, triggers and DTS.
	Naval Undersea Warfare Center Earned Value Management System	Defense	Project management and software development integrating a cost tracking Oracle 7.32 RDBMS, an Omnis client/server financial application, MS Access and MS Project schedules. This project involved additions to an existing Oracle RDBMS, designing a new project database, creating new client/server modules to automate the data exchange between applications and building a web interface for distribution of reports using IIS 4.0, ASP, VB, VBA and T-SQL. Responsibilities included leading requirements definition, writing use cases, designing system architecture, programming modules and testing.
	Housing Utilizaton Reporting System	Defense	Development of an IUA Compliant Housing Utilization Reporting System using MS Access and VBA.
	Distributor Real-Time Data	Retail	ASP Web application for distributing real-time data web subscription data downloads using ASP, SQL Server 2000, DTS packages with variables call from a web form, XML and Flash charting.

	Quandia - Department of Housing and Urban Development - Erie	Government	The first Quandia project involved development of a HUD forms processing application using XML, MS Access, SQL, VBA, Visual Basic client-server application for electronically processing local HUD application forms to the national system. Tasks involved mapping, conversion and transferring numerous proprietary application data fields to the destination formats for electronic batch processing.
